Located in the heart of Alabama's nursery capital, Tom Dodd Nurseries specializes in producing high-quality woody ornamentals, perennials, grasses, and groundcovers, offering products ranging from liners to thirty-gallon containers. We proudly serve growers, re-wholesalers, distribution centers, and retail garden centers across the South, Central, and Eastern United States. As a wholesale nursery based in Semmes, Alabama, we are licensed growers for well-known brands including Encore® Azaleas, Endless Summer® Hydrangeas, First Editions® Shrubs and Trees, Garden Debut®, Gardener’s Confidence®, Southern Living® Plant Collection, and Proven Winners®. We also produce the popular Star® Knock Out® and Drift® Roses.

With over 100 years of experience, Tom Dodd Nurseries has expanded to approximately 300 acres over the past two decades. In 2004, John Williams Jr. acquired the nursery from the Dodd family, and under his sole leadership, sales have grown by 233% in the last 15 years. In 2020 alone, production increased by 18%. We continue to focus on innovation and expansion, consistently offering a wider variety of higher-quality products. We are committed to growing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
