Located in the nursery capital of the state of Alabama, Tom Dodd Nurseries produces quality woody ornamentals, perennials, grasses, and groundcovers ranging from liners to thirty-gallon containers. We serve growers, re-wholesalers, distribution centers, and retail garden centers throughout the South, Central, and Eastern United States. As a wholesale nursery located in Semmes, Alabama, we are licensed to grow by many well-known brands including Southern Living® Plant Collection, Encore® Azaleas, First Editions® Shrubs and Trees, Endless Summer® Hydrangeas, and Proven Winners®. We also produce Knock Out® and Drift® Roses.

 

Tom Dodd Nurseries has been in existence for over one hundred years and has grown to approximately three hundred acres over the last two decades. John Williams Jr. accumulated the nursery in 2004 from the Dodd Family. Within the last 15 years, Tom Dodd Nurseries sales have grown 233%. In the year of 2020, our production increased 18%. We continue to focus all our efforts on innovation and expansion, constantly providing higher quality products with higher variety. We also emphasize the importance of growing and maintaining our customer base within the nursery to fulfill our customer’s needs and their expectations for us in the future.

 

To remain an industry leader, Tom Dodd Nurseries has built a diverse team of leaders that are able to tackle any problem that arises within the nursery. Because of our desire to continue innovation within our industry, the commitment and skill, of all our workers has been crucial to our growth.
